
Possible Yacht Charter Itinerary
Watch the glories of nature pass by as you enjoy a trip through Alaska’s famous Inside Passage. From the moment the sun rises over the peaks of distant mountains to some of the most gorgeous sunsets you’ve ever seen, each day will be a revelation.
Day 1: Start in Juneau with a helicopter trip to the Mendenhall Glacier. Leave Juneau and steam for Saginaw Channel, for excellent whale watching.
Day 2: Steam across the icy straits to Tenakee Inlet where you’ll find Tenakee Springs, a popular little village with a delightful coffee shop and gift shop.
Day 3: Steam through the peril straits for Sitka, a town rich in Russian history and native culture. Visit the Sitka National Historic Park for its totem pole collection.

Day 4: In Sitka you will find great clamming nearby and possibly halibut, cod or salmon fishing around the entrance of Salisbury Sound.
Day 5: Steam out into Chatham strait for Baranof. Enjoy the natural hot pool adjacent to a roaring waterfall. Head down Chatham Straits to Red Bluff to view the Humpback and Killer whales.
Day 6: Enter Frederick Sound and take the tender for some Halibut fishing along the coast of Admiralty Island. Go hiking ashore, and visit the nearby sea lion colony.
Day 7: Cruise to Tracy Arm Glacier and take an incredible trip through a granite-walled fjord to observe Sawyer Glacier. You’ll see eagles, seals and perhaps even brown bears, mountain goats and moose.
Day 8: Leave for St Petersburg, an exceptionally prosperous Norwegian fishing community rich in tradition.
Day 9: Cruise from St Petersburg to La Conte Glacier. Go in to explore this pristine fjord and retreating glacier.
Day 10: Cruise to nearby Anan Creek, famous for its marvelous bear observatory. Then steam toward Myers Chuck and on to your disembarkation point.
